Your gift becomes a hamper, a paid bill, a warm coat.

Every dollar given to the Bradford Conference is spent within the Bradford community. We have no salaried staff and no head office overhead — our members cover their own travel and administration costs.

Ways to Give

Whatever suits you best.

E-transfer or cheque

Send an Interac e-transfer or post a cheque payable to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Contact us and we will send the details straight away.

Food and clothing

Non-perishable food, toiletries and clean winter coats are welcome at the pantry during opening hours. Please check dates before donating food.

Monthly giving

A small recurring gift lets us say yes immediately when an urgent request arrives, without waiting for a fundraiser.

In memory or in honour

Many families ask for donations to the conference instead of flowers. We will acknowledge every gift to the family you name.

Card payments are not collected on this website. Fill in the form below or call the conference line on (647) 514-3094 and a volunteer will arrange the easiest way for you to give — usually within one working day.

What a Gift Does

Roughly, in Bradford dollars.

C$40

Fills a food hamper for a family of four for about a week.

C$150

Covers a heating or hydro top-up so the heat stays on through a cold snap.

C$250

Supplies a full Christmas hamper with gifts for every child in the household.

C$500

Covers a rent shortfall that would otherwise mean a family losing their home.

These are typical costs from our own assistance records. Every grant is decided by the conference members who have met the household, and every gift is recorded in our accounts.
